Because the school is no longer able to provide summer meals, churches and other organizations in the community have stepped in to help the library’s Chieftain Cafe, which provides after-school snacks throughout the year, serve peanut butter & jelly sandwich lunches this summer.

Our parish has agreed to provide meals on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during the first week of each month this summer. They are planning to serve approximately 150 children each day.

We are asking for donated food items to help make this possible.  If you are able to help, please click the image above to sign up and choose which items you are willing to donate.  Items can be left at the church by Wednesday, May 27. 

We will also gather in the kitchen to make sandwiches on Thursday, May 28, at 6:00 p.m. If you are available, we would love your help!
